Welcome to PAWSalot!
Hope you find all the information here that you require. I am only a phone call or email away if there is something I have missed that you want to ask about. The two basic services that I offer are Dog Walking and Pet Sitting. If your need is a little different , talk to me about it.....I might be able to help you or refer you to someone who can.
Dog Walking: Life is stressful enough without the added burden of worrying about your beloved pets. Days are long, commutes can be awful, emergencies crop up, kids need to be chauffeured around, you might be recovering from an illness or injury, you might be on call, or you just have a huge list of other things that must get done. (and that list just might include some much needed sitting on your butt with your feet up time) But your dog still needs to be exercised so the beauty of hiring a dog walker is that you spend quality time with your dog while knowing that its basic needs have already been met. An hour walk a day provides much needed exercise, great companionship, a boredom breaker and an opportunity for your dog to work off some pent up energy. A tired dog is a happy dog! I try to be as flexible as possible to meet your needs. You might need to hire me on an 'as needs basis'...that's ok. You might want to hire me to walk your dog every single day that you are at work....that is ok too. ( ok..I admit...for me that is even better). The starting point is a complimentary , no obligation Meet and Greet. You get to check me out, and I get to ask you questions, understand your needs and make sure your dog is a fit. We then go from there. You are under no obligation or committment.
Pet Sitting: There are many pets whom simply do better staying at home while you are away for an extended period. Cats don't usually like to be moved from their familiar environments and there are little if any bird, bunny, fish boarding facilities. ( thank goodness) My pet sitting involves whatever your pet needs. Generally that includes an up to 1/2 hr visit per day to feed, provide fresh water, clean a litter box, clean a cage, provide some affection for those pets that crave it, and a bit of play time. I include puppy visits under the pet sitting category. For the first year puppies are still learning to control their bladders for extended periods of time so you may want to have your puppy let out for a 'pee break' during the day.
